Nano Brows Healing Process

Aftercare Instructions

Trust the Process

It’s completely normal to feel like your brows look too dark, bold, or defined in the first few days after your appointment

Everyone feels this way!

Remember:
Your brows will soften, fade, and settle beautifully as they heal.
The healing journey takes time, and each stage is part of achieving your final, natural result.

💛 Please note: The healing chart provided is a general guide — not everyone will experience or notice each stage in the same way.

Every skin type and healing process is unique, and variations are completely normal.

  • Day 1

Kind of red, but I like them!

Day 1 of the nano brow healing process — freshly done brows appear slightly red but defined, showing immediate post-treatment results by Alexandra Ink.
  • Day 2-5

They look way too dark and thick!

Days 2 to 5 of the nano brow healing process — brows appear darker and thicker than expected as pigment temporarily oxidizes, a normal stage shown by Alexandra Ink.
  • Day 5-10

They are the wrong shape & flaking off.
    But I won’t pick.

Days 5 to 10 of the nano brow healing process — brows begin to flake and peel as the skin heals, often looking uneven or patchy; a normal phase illustrated by Alexandra Ink.
  • Day 10-15

    Ummm.. My brows are gone!

Days 10 to 15 of the nano brow healing process — brows appear faded or almost gone as the skin regenerates, a temporary stage before pigment resurfaces, shown by Alexandra Ink.
  • Day 15-30

    They’re back!
Just a bit uneven and patchy.

Days 15 to 30 of the nano brow healing process — brows begin to reappear as pigment settles and softens, showing a more natural and even look during healing by Alexandra Ink.

Aftercare Instructions

  • ★ Days 1–2: Gently Cleanse

Every 2–3 hours for the first 48 hours:

    - Dab your brows gently with a clean cotton pad or cleansing pad and water to avoid infection.
    - Do not rub or apply pressure.

  • ★ Days 1–7: Moisturize Lightly

    Before bedtime each night:

    - Apply a tiny, rice-sized amount of the recommended ointment to each brow using a clean cotton swab.
    - Avoid over-applying — your skin needs to breathe to heal properly.

  • ★ Days 1–14: Keep Brows Clean & Dry

    - Do not apply soap, makeup, creams, or skincare products to the brow area.
    - Avoid sweating, swimming, and direct sun exposure.
    - Avoid picking or scratching any scabs, as this can affect pigment retention and healing.
    - Keep your brows clean and dry at all times.

Healing Expectations

Over the next few weeks, your brows will go through several stages:

  • The colour will appear darker at first, then lighten and fade as the skin heals.

  • Some flaking or patchiness is normal — this is part of the skin’s natural regeneration process.

  • As your brows fully heal, the pigment will gradually lighten and soften into its true tone and shape.
